It was a true DIY project — every illustration and line of text drawn by hand, then simply photocopied and bound.

Decades later, I came across one of her original calendars and felt how special it would be to preserve this piece of her work — to honour her knowledge and artistry and share it with a new generation.

With Mum’s blessing, I teamed up with my talented friend Christy (christyartandaroma.com.au) a Melbourne-based artist, who re-imagined Mum’s original sketches as exquisite hand carved block prints. Mum collaborated with us every step of the way, ensuring each symbol, detail, and nuance stayed true to her original vision.

I’m so excited to share this tribute to Mum’s creativity, wisdom, and warmth, decades after its first release.
